My year in review
ROLLERCOASTER YEAR
I started with 43things last year, by this date. So much has happened to me since then. I have been through good things and bad things. It hasn’t been all bad or all good, as it had happened before.
So, this is a small review of what has happened to me this last year:
About my 43things list I’ve accomplished completely the next goals:
1. Be more self-confident.
2. Buy an i-pod
3. Buy a digital camera
4. Give away some clothes
5. Knit scarves
About the things I’ve almost accomplished and I’ve worked hard on them are:
1.Getting in shape: This has contributed on my self-steem and on my ability to fullfill the next goal.
2.Make more friends: I, being more outgoing and extroverted, has shown the real me. I’m not hiding from people. I’ve been able to talk with strangers without feeling stupid or thinking they could think of me as stupid. Plus, I’ve talked to really nice people I’ve virtually met thanks to 43things.com
3.Travel the world: I’ve started to visit nice places here in my coutry. So, it’s nice to visit other countries and other cultures. But while I’m here I’ll enjoy the highway!
4.Fall in love again. I did it, but I need to really accomplished that of being involved in a relationship, stop being afraid of commitment, and stop commiting auto-boicot against me and my feelings.. This is sooooo hard.
5.Study abroad: Still working on that. Last year I couldnt leave for Barcelona, Spain. Hopefully, this year I will be able to finally leave and start my masters degree.
6. And the most important: I finally got to beat my depression!! I am not sure yet about having accomplished this, but I feel I’m almost there!!!
And about my life in a general perspective:
I’M A HAPPY GIRL!! I’m having much more fun than ever. I’m still having problem in the job area. I’m not happy with my jovb right now. I quit my last job. I found a new one. It pays well but I HAAAAAAAAATE it. I have to keep on with it for the next thrree months, because hopefully on December I will be leaving for BCN. so I have to keep on earning cash… It’s so hard!!!
But anyways, I think it’s been quite a rollercoaster year!
